These are your community’s children’s museums.

We honor children and champion play.

OUR MUSEUMS

Greentrike, our parent organization, believes in championing play for children wherever they are. We are please to reopen the Children’s Museum of Tacoma on May 22.  We have also opened a new museum on Joint Base Lewis-McChord — Children’s Museum at JBLM. Both museums offer Pay As You Will admission and are currently by reservation only.

SUMMER CAMP

We are currently taking reservations for summer camp ay the Hoyt Early Learning campus in the Proctor District.

PLAYING AT HOME

In addition to our museums, Greentrike strives to meet children and families where they are and to encourage playful experiences. Some of our efforts include the Greentrike Cares Kits program, which has expanded over the last year to reach more children, as well as our Virtual Play to Learn program, offering many digital Play at Home resources for children and their caregivers.

FALL PROGRAMMING

In fall 2021 we are please to welcome back in-person our free outreach program, Play to Learn.  Preschool Powered by Play also returns this fall.  Inspired by the best in early childhood education, Preschool Powered by Play engages children in playful discovery, helping to prepare them to be confident and eager learners who are ready for school and their life journey. We are now enrolling for Preschool Powered by Play.

What the community is saying

Both of my children have autism and the staff there have been nothing short of amazing with them. We often go for their open play but have just recently started to attend their summer camps. It has been such a positive and wonderful experience. I cannot recommend them enough for children with autism!

Crystal Kennedy, Parent

Best children’s party ever… Perfect for everyone! Especially for little one’s learning new skills. The two associated were exceptional helping us with face painting, keep us organized and cleaning up afterwards… what a pleasant surprise!

Mary Baez

The space is an amazing interactive and hands on learning environment. As soon as you walk through the doors you are immersed in another world. We have been members for 3 years and feel that it is totally worth it.

The staff are friendly, graceful, and attentive. The space is clean, safe, and comfortable. This is the type of place that makes you better for so very many reasons.

Lonnie Holley, Parent
