How your donations help build a place for our children
The Children’s Museum of Tacoma is the first and only privately-funded children’s museum in the country to offer Pay As You Will admission, which allows every family to spend time connecting, learning and exploring through play. This year we will serve over 160,000 visitors; 41% will come from low income households, while another 25% will come from the military.
With your help we can continue to meet our mission by growing accessible services for the community like the Play to Learn program. Now in its tenth year, Play to Learn offers free preschools classes at 25 Pierce County locations each week starting January 2019, and is now serving 20,000 children and their adults each year.
And, the Museum does all of this with a modest budget and careful stewardship of the resources that community members, like you, have entrusted.
Please consider providing a gift to the Children’s Museum of Tacoma.
Even a modest gift will have a big impact on our ability to continue to offer high quality and accessible play experiences for young families. Your gifts are a thoughtful investment in our community’s future; the Museum is grateful for your commitment.

Give 253
The Children’s Museum of Tacoma is excited to announce our new Give 253 Monthly Giving Program! Invest in child-centered educational programming at your Museum by pledging at least $22 a month, for 11 consecutive months, for at least a total of $253.
This funding will go towards Museum operations and access programming, including Pay As You Will admission, Wee Ones Weekly and Play to Learn. All first-time Give 253 Monthly Giving members will receive a CMT 253 Heart decal, to proudly display your commitment to our community’s children and Pierce County pride.
